Today is groundhog day...and yes he DID see his shadow! Oh well, it usually takes six more weeks for spring to get here anyway so we might as well have winter. I never got this whole holiday anyway. Nicholas however made the cutest craft today at preschool and I thought I would share it with you all. They attached a groundhog cutout onto a tongue depressor and put it through a hole in the bottom of a styrofoam cup. At the top of the cup they attached some grass made out of green paper. The groundhog goes up and down like he is coming out of the ground and going back in..it is the cutest thing!
