Nicholas mashed his finger in the door of the hotel room! OUCH!! He was trying to open the door but it is so heavy that it came back on him before he could get out and it caught his finger. He mashed his middle finger and so now when he holds it up for you to look at it, we see something obsene. He does not know that it is wrong and so I have just been acting like it is all normal and medicating and bandaging it.
The Lord is good though for I do not think he will need stitches or anything. I do need to invest in Mederma stock though!

Poor kiddo! Did it mash the fingernail? If so, just watch it. Morgan got one of her fingers smashed in a door one time...and infection set in under the nail. (It turned ugly colors!) She ended up having to have an antibiotic. (She lost the nail, too, but it grew back fine!)
No he mashed it near the first joint in the finger!
Oh my goodness!!! Hope he's OK!
